Angry Birds generating $1M revenue per month says CEO Mikael Hed

This is something woth attention for all Android app developers as well as app developers , developing for other platforms . We know Android Market has the highest ratio of free apps when compared to other app stores . Now its not right to assume that Free apps don’t bring revenue to developers , it does and it does pretty well in long term . Take an example of Angry birds , though the game is available for free on Android Market .CEO Mikael Hed from Rovio revealed at LeWeb 2010 that advertisements on Android version of Angry birds are pulling a $1M revenue each month .
Now that something even more than what premium version could bring in from sale in Apple app store which is a paid app priced at $0.99 .
