Trying to crack some of the most serious word puzzles has been my big time hobby, whether it is taking some serious challenges or burning out my spare time I have a collection of some of the most engaging word games on my android phone. While the play store is no short of Word based puzzle games, Word Fight Online gives a relatively new dimension to the word puzzles with its real time challenges that can be taken against your friends, family or any random gamers across the globe.

Fire up the game and within seconds you can find yourself giving a tough time to your opponents. Just sign in with a Google account and Word Fight Online can be played with any of your friends and family members added as contacts in Google contacts or Plus profile. The game has option to invite specific person to the game or you can also game on with random gamers available online. The main screen is highly inspired by the gameplay style and shows the name of the games with letters that can be rearranged. The game is pretty straight forward and you can get started without bothering about the bells and whistles. You can choose to invite your buddies directly from the app and they can receive and manage the invite form the invitations area in the game.

Within the game your opponent throws random letters at you and you need to form a meaningful word from the bunch of jumbled letters. At the same time you also challenge your opponents with scrambled letters, twisted and turned to a custom difficulty level. The dual task of challenging as well as solving puzzles at the same time is what makes it fun and a fast paced game unlike the traditional puzzles games where you can have your share of time. The opponent and you get limited words to complete from scrambled letters and whoever does them all right and fastest wins the game. The rules are quite simple to start off with but a handy tutorial is definitely a must in the game which we found missing.

The game controls are simple and self explanatory, just drag the letter across and drop them to place them at the right spot. Due to being relatively new, the game lacks active players, sometimes you may need to wait about four to five minutes before a random player is assigned to you but you are sure to enjoy it more with your friends and family bragging your high scores and setting up new challenges. The quick invitation process and leaderboards helps you explore high scores from the people in your circle or other gamers around the world.

Word Fight Online is great for gamers who use multiple devices, say you use your phone to rejoice during office hours but spends most of the time with your tablet at home.
