The game starts with a brief introduction video over an island formerly used for military training but later abandoned due to unfavorable conditions. The military decides to send you with a team of soldiers to study the survival skills on the island where you come across some of the most aggressive dinosaur species. Your aim in the game is to defend your team and the base from these dinosaurs.

As you move to new parts of island you come across new species of these dinosaurs that are highly resistant to your attacks and approach your base even faster. To deal with, you have a variety of weapons like machine guns, grenades and also upgrades that boost you existing weapon’s attack power and rate of fire that can help you take down powerful enemies faster.

Dino Bunker Defense comes with over hundred levels playable in six unique areas of the island with different visuals. Each level earns you coins and chemicals with the victory and also earn you achievements in form of trophies which can be a good reason to share on global leaderboards and challenge fellow gamers. The coins and chemicals can be used to buy new upgrades for your weapons which can increase the impact of weapon attack, paralyze enemies, improve your armor to withstand enemy damage and do much more with 12 different types of upgrades and even buy special weapons with these.

The game is landscape oriented and during your gameplay you will be able to keep a track of all your stats like coins, chemicals, level and its progress, health and the option to deploy special attacks on the dinosaurs. Music and sound effects like attack sounds and growling dinosaurs accompany the gameplay to give it a lively experience. While they can also be turned off from the game’s home screen. The controls are quite simple, you can attack dinosaurs by tapping on them or by holding your finger on an area where you wish to attack continuously which is quite effective for targeting bigger and powerful opponents.

The game comes beautiful game graphics and smooth animations of dinosaurs moving in the war field. The characters and environments used in game have a high contrast which perfectly suits the theme of a dinosaur game like this.
