As you fire up the app you are presented with interestingly simplistic and elegant UI that doesn’t feel cluttered or overloaded with information as most apps do. Rather you come across a daily quote highlighted on the home screen, accompanied with the name and picture of the author/originator. I liked the quick reads and the focused reading experience on the home screen.

The developer has also included bio’s of the authors that cane be accessed as you tap on the quote with the list of all quotes from that specific author.

There’s also room for a Random quote of the day, that can be shuffled using the dedicated button if you wish to keep reading quotes on random basis. Accidently stumble upon something that interests you and wish to bookmark it? There a like option to keep your favourites sorted. All your read quotes will be a part of the History list which can be accessed from the History tab.

Furthermore the quotes are sorted categorically, by author, popularity, recency and more if you prefer the manual hunt for the perfect inspiration.

We loved the picture quotes section that not just has these beautiful quotes with soothing photos of nature and motivation but are also perfect to share as status and to social groups.

I’ve been personally using the highly customizable Brilliant quotes widget that allows me to have a quick glance at a random quote on my phone’s home screen without having to open the app. The widget is fluid and resizable to match the taste and preference of your device.

Brilliant Quotes turns out to be a brilliant addition to my personal space on my phone. Though the app is completely free of charge, with the paid upgrade you get a bang for the buck removing the advertisements, adding your own quotes, highly customizable widgets and quotes over system notification.
